1 John 5:4-5
3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
“In life troubles will come which seem as if they never will pass away. The night and the storm look as though they will last forever; but calm and the morning cannot be stayed; the storm in its very nature is transient. The effort of nature, as that of the human heart, is to return to its repose, for God is peace.” ~ George MacDonald

3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
What are you thankful for? Have a great thanksgiving. I’ll be back next week!
